Bobbin Teflon Coated Class M

This is a Class M bobbin. It is 10.97 mm thick and has a diameter of 25.49 mm (about 1in). This bobbin made of aluminum and is lighter than the steel version used in industrial machines. The lighter weight minimizes over spin of the bobbin when stopping. However this version is more prone to nicking due to the softness of the aluminum.

This bobbin is used in Long Arm machines from Baby Lock, Gammill, Nolting, Janome (Artistic), Handi-quilter, Tin Lizzie and others.
